Announcement regarding upgrades to Australian Sign Standards

This blog post is an important announcement from the Australia Human Rights Commission. They recently updated their guidelines, please find information relating to signage below.

Over the past decade the Australian Human Rights Commission has dealt with thousands of inquiries from people looking for information about how to make buildings accessible to people with a disability.

As you may know, the Disability Discrimination Act does not include technical specifications that can be used to check for compliance. To try to assist those responsible for buildings the Commission has issued a number of advisory notes and guidelines.
